Put simply, a tumor is the result of out-of-control cell growth. Combining the latest methods in gene splicing and computer modeling, Rice University researchers are trying to develop a predictive framework for one of the most basic and complex biological phenomena — cellular heterogeneity, or the ability of genetic clones to act and behave differently when exposed to the same set of environmental stimuli.
Emerging Healthcare Solutions, Inc. announced today that its affiliate, Celulas Genetica, purchased a license to develop and market a revolutionary new medical treatment known as the Rutherford Procedure.
UK HealthCare, the patient care operations of University of Kentucky, will deploy the Allscripts lectronic Health Record and Practice Management solution to help its team of 6,000 physicians, nurses, pharmacists and health care providers enhance the quality of patient care, improve patient communications, and better manage the cost of care delivery.
