With the completion of the first genome-wide association study for Sj-gren's syndrome, an international coalition of researchers led by scientists at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has identified six new disease-related genes.
To reduce the number of discards and thus make more kidneys available, researchers and medical scientists from the European consortium MABSOT have created a new drug called OPN-305 to reduce inflammation of the donor organ after transplantation.
BHR Pharma, LLC (BHR) announced today that it has filed an Investigational New Drug (IND) application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its proprietary BHR-100 intravenous progesterone infusion product.
Leaving a two-hour gap between the last meal of the day and bedtime doesn't seem to be associated with any discernible difference in blood glucose levels among healthy adults over the long term, suggests Japanese research published in the online journal BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health.
