Now, a new analysis led by researchers at the UNC School of Medicine and the Renaissance Computing Institute identified illogical thoughts as most predictive of schizophrenia risk.
People who migrate to the United States from Mexico have a significantly higher risk of developing depressive or anxiety disorders than family members of migrants who remain in Mexico, according to a report in the April issue of Archives of General Psychiatry, one of the JAMA/Archives journals.
Scientists at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory have constructed a computer simulation that allows them to study the relationship between biochemical fluctuations within a single cell and the cell's behavior as it interacts with other cells and its environment.
The percentage of medical students who told their schools that they have a disability rose sharply in recent years, a new study shows.
