A new weight loss procedure that reduces the size of the stomach without the need for surgery known as endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty is safe and effective way for the treatment obesity and obesity-related comorbidities such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and fatty liver, according to a new study by NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine researchers.
Cerebral aneurysms are malformations caused by abnormalities on the walls of blood vessels in the brain. When these blood vessels rupture, about 30% of the sufferers die on the spot, giving these the rightful label of 'ticking bombs in the head'.
Oragenics, Inc., today announced that its board of directors has approved a 1-for-20 reverse stock split and that the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has cleared the reverse stock split to become effective with the opening of trading on Tuesday, September 28, 2010.
