Bristol-Myers Squibb Company today announced positive results from a randomized Phase 2 study evaluating ipilimumab in combination with standard chemotherapy in previously untreated patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Sunless tanners like creams and sprays that fake a tan may reduce their sunbathing time and tanning bed use, according to a new study. "Using the sunless tanners can change tanning behaviors," says researcher Suephy C. Chen, associate professor of dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine. "People who used the sunless tanners decreased the number of times they laid out or went to tanning booths."
Men are missing from fertility debates and crucial support services because they are often not included in studies and, when they are, it is usually only married, heterosexual men who are asked for data.
Cancer is complex and unpredictable. Despite successful treatment or years of remission, there is always a chance that a patient's cancer can return.
