A recent study finds that unhealthy eating behaviors at night can make people less helpful and more withdrawn the next day at work.
Human corneal endothelial cells (HCEnCs) form a monolayer of hexagonal cells whose main function is to maintain corneal clarity by regulating corneal hydration. Cell loss due to aging or corneal endothelial disorders, such as Fuchs dystrophy, can lead to cornea edema and blindness, resulting in the need for cornea transplants.
Strategies for preventing the spread of whooping cough on the rise in the United States and several other countries in recent years should take into account how often people in different age groups interact, research at the University of Michigan suggests.
Individuals with an inherited form of skin cancer often have a poor prognosis. The study is published in the Journal of Medical Genetics.
