Panasonic has launched a brand new line of -30˚C Biomedical freezers that provide cost-efficient and secure sample storage across a wide range of applications. A combination of technological advances in Panasonic's new -30˚C freezers reduces energy consumption and improves temperature stability, delivering the effective, reliable environmental control needed when storing valuable materials such as vaccines, diagnostic samples, enzymes, culture media and reagents.
Researchers from Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, recently discovered a mechanism to explain what drives the formation of mucinous colorectal adenocarcinoma (MAC), a rare subtype of colorectal cancer (CRC), and has also identified the genes responsible for the regulation of this mechanism.
Serelaxin reduces the occurrence of in-hospital worsening heart failure by almost half in patients admitted for acute heart failure, according to the RELAX-AHF trial. The results were presented for the first time today at ESC Congress by co-principal investigator Professor John R. Teerlink.
When treatment is working for a patient who is fighting cancer, the light at the end of the tunnel is easier to see.
