Carnegie Mellon University neuroscientist Alison Barth has developed the first tool to identify and study individual neurons activated in a living animal.
In support of efforts to find better ways of diagnosing and monitoring breast cancer patients, SmartPractice today donated $50,000 to the Translational Genomics Research Institute.
With a new, poison-free approach to malaria control, researchers in the Solarmal project have expressed not only the hope to eliminate malaria in Africa at local level, but also to provide the local population with a source of sustainable energy. Research into this combined approach was facilitated due to a donation to Wageningen University Fund by the COmON foundation.
Patients with bipolar disorder who consume alcohol do not experience significant changes in their self-reported mood states with increased consumption, show Dutch study findings.
Ecron Acunova and Newcastle University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding signalling an intention by both parties to explore ways of working closely together in the area of clinical trials.
