A new study has found that few drug evaluations compare treatments in ways that help doctors make better decisions, Reuters reports.
Researchers tested cats and dogs living in households with COVID-19 positive owners in Texas, US. They found that the pets were also infected in more than 25% of households with a positive case.
Medicaid paid for more than one-third of the 1.3 million hospital stays related to prescription or illegal drug abuse in 2005, according to the latest News and Numbers from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
People with severe COVID-19 and a secondary blood infection were significantly sicker upon hospital admission, had longer hospital stays and poorer outcomes, according to a Rutgers study.
This finding shows the potential of using a dietary supplement to help treat autoimmune diseases, said Demetriou, an assistant professor of neurology, and microbiology and molecular genetics.
