They found a significant increase in body weight over the post-SIP period at a rate of roughly a pound and a half weight gain per month following SIP.
Researchers from Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have designed a prototype system-on-chip that could make possible a fully implanted cochlear implant. They will present their findings on Feb. 11at the IEEE International Solid State Circuits Conference in San Francisco.
The issue of overworked, exhausted doctors and the impact this has on the quality of care delivered has come under scrutiny at an inquest in Queensland.
