Consumer alert group "Choice" tested 20 frozen meat pies available in supermarket chains nationally. They found that at present meat pies contain more meat than they did four years back. To qualify as a meat pie, the product should be at least 25% meat as per the guidelines from 2007. Coles home brand was the only brand that failed to meet the content standard. This means that nearly 8 percent of the U.S. population has diabetes.
New studies by an international team of scientists led by Joslin Diabetes Center have found variations in a gene that help explain why people with type 2 diabetes are at much greater risk for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death for this group.
Prozac, the trade name for the drug fluoxetine, was introduced to the U.S. market for the treatment of depression in 1988.
