DIACARTA Inc., a precision molecular diagnostics company headquartered in Richmond, California, today announced that it is launching a new suite of CE-IVD marked highly sensitive hydrolysis probe based QClamp assays for detection of common cancer mutations in genes, such as KRAS, NRAS, BRAF, EGFR, PIK3CA and JAK2, using tissue biopsyand liquid biopsy samples.
In a study presented earlier this week at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Conference in Denver, researchers at Yale and Albert Einstein College of Medicine measured levels of a chemical called follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in 560 women undergoing fertility treatments and found that those women with type O blood had chemical signs linked to low egg numbers.
The University of Texas Health Science at Houston (UTHealth) announced the opening of a center devoted to researching and treating diseases associated with malfunctioning immune systems.
