St. Jude Medical, Inc., a global medical device company, today announced the first post-approval implant of the Nanostim™ leadless pacemaker in the U.K. The world's first retrievable leadless pacemaker was implanted at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London by Professor Richard Schilling.
According to rules governing the vote, the GOP will have to pick up about 50 Democrat votes to pass the bill. The vote may not be the end of abortion controversies on the Hill this year, however, as several measures have been inserted into national security bills, Politico Pro reports.
Two of the world's leading universities are joining forces to combine neuroscience and engineering in order to alleviate human suffering caused by such neurological disabilities as paralysis and deafness.
