A new guideline focused on the role of weight management in treating adult obstructive sleep apnea has been published online by the American Thoracic Society in the Sept. 15 American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey researcher Michael L. Gatza, PhD, has received a $200,000 V Scholar Grant from The V Foundation for Cancer Research to explore a cell pathway in triple-negative breast cancer.
Researchers from Bentley University, in partnership with Waltham Council on Aging in Massachusetts, and as part of a study funded by the National Science Foundation, have been exploring how the elderly use smart speakers at home.
The combination of two compounds that inhibit two of the most frequently mutated cancer pathways is showing promise in an ongoing Phase I trial, according to data presented at the AACR 102nd Annual Meeting 2011, held here April 2-6.
