Scientists from Tomsk Polytechnic University are developing a robotic arm prototype and its control algorithm using myoelectric signals. The mechanical limb will independently recognize the motions of its owner and be able to perform all the same motions like a healthy arm.
GeckoSystems Intl. Corp. announced today that they are hosting their first annual "Mobile Robots in Motion" conference November 4-5, 2009. GeckoSystems is a dynamic leader in the emerging mobile robotics industry revolutionizing their development and usage with "Mobile Robot Solutions for Safety, Security and Service™."
A key feature of Alzheimer's disease is memory loss and losing one's ability to think and make decisions (also called "cognitive ability").
