Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program are breaking the state's budget, but opting out of the federal programs would have a devastating effect on health care delivery in Texas, according to a state report issued Friday. The report said most of the methods for fixing Medicaid spending in Texas will require acts of Congress, not the Legislature, to give the state greater flexibility in how the programs are run and a greater share of the national Medicaid financing.
Boston Scientific Corporation today announced its exclusive sponsorship and first enrollments of the MADIT-RIT clinical trial. This new trial follows in the tradition of three previous landmark trials: MADIT, MADIT II and MADIT-CRT, each exclusively sponsored by Boston Scientific and conducted under the leadership of Principal Investigator Arthur J. Moss, M.D., Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester.
On June 30, 2016, a team of researchers led by Thomas Buchanan, MD, Michele Kipke PhD and Jonathan Samet, MD, of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California received a prestigious Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) from the National Institutes of Health.
The Allen Institute for Brain Science announced today the launch of a new brain atlas resource and updates to four existing resources, all publicly available online to accelerate brain research around the globe.
