Held at Ruby Hills Country Club, proceeds from this event benefit Autism research and the continued search for a cure. With over 1.5 million cases of autism in the United States and a child being diagnosed every 20 minutes, Landmark was thrilled to be able to lend their support to this cause.
A Scottish study that began 80 years ago has shown that genes may play a role in maintaining intelligence till old age. The study participants joined when they were 11 years old. Researchers have long been interested in understanding how cognition changes with age, and why these changes are more rapid in some people than in others. But, in the past, studies of age-related intelligence changes were often performed when the subjects were already elderly.
A new study has found that taking probiotics could drastically reduce the response of cancer patients to immunotherapy. Patients on a fiber-rich diet showed a five-fold increase in response.
