Cell Therapeutics, Inc. today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell, subject to customary closing conditions, $21.0 million of shares of its Series 7 Preferred Stock and warrants to purchase shares of its common stock in a registered offering to four institutional investors.
Health Discovery Corporation, a personalized medicine company specializing in molecular diagnostics including gene-based testing, as well as computer assisted diagnostics in digital pathology and radiology, announced that former Deputy FDA Commissioner John A. Norris has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Company.
Forty years ago scientists discovered that more than 95% of our DNA does not encode proteins. Since then the non-protein-coding portion was labeled "junk" and attributed to molecular accidents that have accumulated in the course of evolution.
In recent years, bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) have been appearing more and more often in beds around the world, and entomologists need specimens for research purposes.
