American Oriental Bioengineering, Inc. today announced that two of AOBO's branded products, Jinji Capsules and Boke Nasal Spray, were awarded the designation of "China's Top Branded Drugs of 2009" at an award ceremony held in Shanghai on August 11, 2009.
Results from the NRG Oncology clinical study NRG-RTOG 0415 determined that a hypofractionated radiotherapy schedule, a treatment schedule that delivers a total dose of radiotherapy over a shorter period of time, is not worse than the conventional radiotherapy schedule in terms of bowel, bladder, sexual, and general quality of life as well as anxiety and depression for men with low risk prostate cancer.
A large proportion of eligible NHS hospital trusts seem to be meeting the UK government target for setting up stroke units, but in name only, suggests a national audit, published in Quality and Safety in Health Care.
The ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Anelixis Therapeutics, announced today that it has formed a research partnership with Neurimmune to advance potential treatments for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
