Greek and Spanish-speaking patients with kidney or ureteral stones can now read EAU Patient Information in their native language. The Endourology, Laparoscopy and Urotechnology Section of the Hellenic Urologic Association (HUA) has provided the Greek translation and the Spanish translation is the result of a collaboration between the Spanish Association of Urology (AEU) and the Dominican Republic Society of Urology (SDU).
We all have them - positive memories of personal events that are a delight to recall, and painful recollections that we would rather forget. A new study reveals that what we do with our emotional memories and how they affect us has a lot to do with our gender, personality and the methods we use (often without awareness) to regulate our feelings.
The EpiGen Consortium, an international alliance of the world's leading epigenetics researchers (Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), National University of Singapore, University of Southampton, Medical Research Council - Lifecourse Epidemiology Unit, AgResearch Limited, Auckland UniServices Limited) are pleased to announce the creation of a research collaboration with Nestl- Research Center in Switzerland.
Each year, over 700,000 people in the United States suffer a stroke. For most, medical science can do very little. Some will die; a number will suffer debilitating aftereffects. Now, preliminary results of a Phase 2 clinical trial using Remedy Pharmaceuticals' new drug, RP-1127, presented at the 2012 International Stroke Conference in New Orleans on February 2, offer hope to many of these patients.
