New research from BYU's autism experts is providing clues into the link between aggression and autism - clues the team hopes will eventually lead to more effective intervention.
Heart failure is associated with a 30 percent increase in major fractures and also identifies a high-risk population that may benefit from increased screening and treatment for osteoporosis, according to a recent study accepted for publication in The Endocrine Society's Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism (JCEM).
As G20 leaders wrapped up their meeting in Los Cabos, Mexico, on Tuesday, the U.N. food and agriculture agencies - the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme (WFP) - issued a joint statement "calling on them to redouble their efforts to fight hunger" and "welcoming the priority given to food and nutrition security at the summit," the U.N. News Centre reports.
