A report out of the UK reveals that just like the tobacco industry tried for decades to suppress the harmful effects of tobacco and cigarette smoking, the alcohol industry too is trying to underplay the actual cancer risks associated with alcohol intake. The new research is published in the journal Drug and Alcohol Review.
Crittenton Children's Center has received a two-year, $10,000 grant from the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Research Foundation to conduct a first of its kind study addressing trauma in children.
A web-based technology that helps pediatricians, parents and educators improve the quality of care for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, is being offered for free to pediatric primary care practices nationwide by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a grant of $244,479.25 from the U.S Government under the Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project for its ongoing Phase III clinical trial program for NX-1207 for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
