MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced the Company will present additional post-hoc analyses from the FREEDOM-301 Phase 3 trial of its investigational LEVADEX™ orally inhaled migraine therapy in two patient subpopulations that are often difficult to treat with current triptan migraine therapies: menstrual migraine and migraine with allodynia.
Interruptions in workflow, such as a phone call while working on another task, or when a colleague stops by for a chat, can lead to inefficiencies in the workplace. For nurses working in emergency departments, those interruptions could affect patient care.
In a new study recently published in the journal Science, a team of researchers in the U.S. found that most of the antibodies circulating in the blood target areas of the viral spike protein outside the receptor-binding domain (RBD), the part of the spike that binds directly to human cell receptors.
A new way for surgeons to know how well their patients are regaining physical function after a major abdominal operation could be as simple as patients wearing a fitness wristband to count their steps.
The osteocutaneous radial forearm free flap should be used for mandibular reconstruction because of the low rate of long-term donor and recipient site complications, particularly with prophylactic plating of the donor radius, say US scientists.
