The Learning and Developmental Disabilities Initiative (LDDI) today released the first-ever biomonitoring report identifying toxic chemical pollution in people from the learning and developmental disability community.
New research from Karolinska Institutet in Sweden shows that men who take vitamin C supplements regularly run a higher risk of developing kidney stones. The study, which is published in the scientific periodical JAMA Internal Medicine, did not however observe an increased risk between kidney stones and multivitamins - which contain lower concentrations of vitamin C.
Health apps have become a popular tool among teens and adults to track fitness, weight loss, sleep and even menstrual cycles - but are they appropriate for tweens?
Many small businesses are eyeing expansion-;at least temporarily-;now that penalties under the Affordable Care Act's employer mandate have been delayed for a year.
