With a final showdown looming on health insurance reform legislation in Washington, D.C., AARP announced this morning it will back the bill containing key reform provisions, improving health care for older Americans and their families.
Pharmarama, a leader in the strategic sourcing of comparator drugs for global clinical trials, today announced that the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has granted the company a Wholesale Distributor's License (WDL). The license enables Pharmarama to operate its pharmaceutical cold-chain and ambient storage and distribution facility in suburban Boston to provide extensive sourcing and comparator product storage services for its clients.
St. Jude Medical, Inc., a global medical device company, announced today at EuroPCR it will evaluate the incremental cost-effectiveness of Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)-guided treatment for patients with multivessel coronary artery disease in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Canada. The analysis will also determine FFR's potential health and budget impact for each of the seven countries.
