A novel study reports that white men and women of European descent inherit common foot disorders, such as bunions (hallux valgus) and lesser toe deformities, including hammer or claw toe.
Brighton Health Plan Solutions today announced the launch of Create, the first marketplace of health systems in the New York tri-state area. Create is collaborating directly with leading health systems, including Mount Sinai Health System, Long Island Health Network, and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, in order to immediately reduce health care costs and simultaneously increase health care quality for members and their families in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
The House Energy and Commerce Committee contacted the Internal Revenue Service Tuesday to request information about a 2011 search and seizure of as many as 60 million medical records from a California health care provider.
Heart disease differences in men and women continue to be poorly understood because women are included in clinical trials far less than men, and even when women are included, study results are not reported by sex, according to a study in the current issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings.
