American researchers have discovered the process by which the cells in the gut fight off toxins produced by a hospital bug - Clostridium difficile. Writing in Nature Medicine, they showed how a chemical - GSNO - deactivated a toxin from Clostridium difficile which causes inflammation and diarrhea. They hope to use their findings to develop a treatment for C. difficile.

FOLOTYN Phase 2 peripheral T-cell lymphoma study results published in Journal of Clinical Oncology

Allos Therapeutics, Inc. today announced that the Journal of Clinical Oncology has published data from the Company's pivotal Phase 2 PROPEL study demonstrating clinical activity of FOLOTYN® (pralatrexate injection) in patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL).
