New research from the University of Alabama at Birmingham published in the journal Stroke shows that, although HBP medications are beneficial, it is as risky to wait for the condition to develop and then treat it to a controlled level.
Agile Therapeutics announced results today from a Phase 2 clinical study of AG200-15, Agile's weekly contraceptive patch containing ethinyl estradiol (EE) in combination with levonorgestrel (LNG). According to the clinical findings, AG200-15 provides a low daily dose of estrogen equivalent to 30 micrograms EE, similar to that in low-dose, oral contraceptive (OC) pills.
For decades, vision specialists believed that a condition called amblyopia, or "lazy eye," must be treated before a child turns 7 to be successful. But a new study, involving Vanderbilt Children's Hospital researchers, finds it's not too late for older children.
