The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted qualified infectious disease product (QIDP) designation to two Bayer investigational agents, Amikacin Inhale and Ciprofloxacin Dry Powder for Inhalation (DPI).
After many years of experience, and over 2400 laser eyelid rejuvenation procedures my understanding of the condition often referred to as dark circles under the eyes has evolved to, I believe, a better understanding of this common condition and a newer more effective surgical strategy for the correction of dark circles under eyes.
Engineers at Carnegie Mellon University and biomedical researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Womens Research Institute have established a framework for understanding the mechanics that underlie vesicle formation.
A cold 'sensor' which triggers the skin's vascular response to the cold could represent an exciting new therapeutic target for the treatment of frostbite and hypothermia, according to scientists at King's College London.
The pigment that gives spinach and other plants their verdant color may improve doctors' ability to examine the human gastrointestinal tract.
