In meetings held in association with the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco, Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI) reviewed 2009 targeted milestones and 2008 accomplishments.
Researchers at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital -The Neuro, at McGill University and the MUHC, are working to develop a much needed tool for helping diagnose concussions or mild traumatic brain injuries suffered by thousands of young Canadians --hockey and football players among them.
Men are more likely than women to experience many of the problems commonly associated with nondependent drinking, according to a new study.
A new survey by Cancer Research UK, released to launch their Man Alive Campaign, is suggesting that 25% of British men are "in denial" about their waist measurement, and most men, when questioned were unaware that being overweight, obese, or inactive, increases the risk of cancer.
Studies that report lower smoking rates during pregnancy may be flawed by the social stigma attached to mothers-to-be who light up but don't admit it, suggests a new analysis.
