Researchers at the George Washington University (GW) were awarded a grant estimated to be funded at $23.8 million from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to study a new model that aims to improve HIV prevention and care while lowering healthcare costs.
There seems to be little doubt among cancer researchers that new detection systems using nanowires and microfluidics hold the promise of providing a quantum leap in the detection of cancer-related molecules and genes.
This is the beginning of a plea written by a 13-year-old girl to the Department of Homeland Security. The goal: to get her mother the insurance coverage she would need to enter a clinical trial.
