Bolder BioTechnology, Inc. today announced that it has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant totaling $600,000 from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of The National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant will be used to demonstrate the feasibility of using our novel, long-acting IL-11 analog to accelerate platelet recovery and improve survival in a mouse model of Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS).
A new study by researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), part of the National Institutes of Health, shows that pregnant women who binge drink early in their pregnancy increase the likelihood that their babies will be born with oral clefts.
In a new study published in the March 2010 issue of Elsevier's Cortex, researchers have found that the condition is linked to an inability to process faces as a whole, or holistically.
