Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) related to product advisories issued by its Guidant subsidiary in 2005. The alleged conduct and product sales occurred prior to Boston Scientific's 2006 acquisition of Guidant.
Preparis, Inc. today associated the rapid spread of H1N1 pandemic to the high percentage of companies that are not doing enough to prevent its spread in the workplace. In response, the company has unveiled a special website dedicated to helping businesses and their employees prepare for the "swine flu" pandemic.
