Forest Laboratories, Inc. and Nycomed today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a complete response letter regarding the New Drug Application (NDA) for roflumilast. The findings describe the complex networks that govern gene activity, and the new information could play a crucial role in identifying the genes involved with disease.
In early July, the German Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care conducted two early benefit assessments to investigate whether certain drug combinations with pembrolizumab have advantages in comparison with the respective appropriate comparator therapy for patients with metastatic squamous or non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
Siena Pacheco is five years old, and enjoys swimming and riding her bike. Sheila Stone has a few years on Siena, but she also enjoys swimming and cycling, and the kindergarten teacher insists she still has the spirit of a five-year-old.
The research, presented at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology annual conference, which ends today in Geneva, Switzerland, describes for the first time the use of an experimental technique that has made it possible to analyze the functioning of human sperm in contact with the cytoplasmic content of the eggs in vitro.
