The Korea Institute of Toxicology (KIT·Chief Dr. Song, Chang-woo) National Center for Efficacy Evaluation of Respiratory Disease Product (NCER·Chief Dr. Lee, Kyu-hong) obtained on January 10 the final decision from the Ministry of Health and Welfare that the T2B Infrastructure Center for Respiratory Disease would enter into the final phase (second phase) with funding of 3 billion KRW over two years.
Clinic sites in 13 cities across the U.S. are looking for a total of 1,350 HIV-negative gay men to participate in the latest HIV vaccine study from the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN). And they're using social media to help reach these individuals where they are, which, these days, is increasingly online.
CQDM and Ontario Centres of Excellence will fund five highly innovative and unconventional game-changing research and development projects to accelerate drug discovery in the Quebec-Ontario Life Sciences Corridor. Partners are granting $1.5M to Quebec-based and, for the first time, Ontario-based researchers thanks to the partnership with OCE through CQDM's 2014 Explore Program, one of CQDM's flagship programs focusing on early concept validation of cutting-edge technologies that address the most crucial needs in drug discovery and development.
