Omeros Corporation today announced that it has obtained an exclusive license to compounds from Asubio Pharma Co., Ltd. for use in its PDE7 program, which is focused on the treatment of movement disorders.
After more than 30 years of research and an extensive open-label weight loss study, WellWorld Science® announces the official U.S. launch of Livea®, a doctor-developed, non-prescription, patent-pending appetite-control supplement that is unlike any other dietary supplement on the market.
The findings, which come from a Journal of Diabetes analysis of 11,515 men and 13,569 women in China, indicate that nutrition in early life may play a role in the development of subsequent metabolic disorders.
Jean-François Côté, a researcher at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute and professor at Université de Montréal's Faculty of Medicine, studies metastasis, the leading cause of cancer-related death. Recently, his team uncovered a protein that, once deactivated, could prevent the development of metastases in an aggressive type of cancer, HER2-positive breast cancer.
A retrospective analysis, conducted at a large infertility clinic between January 2003 and December 2008, demonstrated that there were no significant differences in pregnancy outcomes with three different progesterone formulations for women aged 35 to 40 undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) procedures. These data were presented at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) annual meeting in Atlanta.
