Treating sinusitis is difficult in part because it's often not known if the cause is viral or bacterial. Unfortunately little information on the subject is available to internists says a new study by a Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) internist.
Citing a new study assessing the impact of skin disease on patients and the U.S. economy, the American Academy of Dermatology is launching a new campaign to raise awareness of the breadth of serious skin diseases that affect patients, as well as the critical role dermatologists play in an era of team-based health care.
The role of sleep in processing our waking life and making sense of difficult emotions and experiences has been little understood and disputed amongst scientists for many years.
