Springer and the Italian Society for the Study of Eating Disorders (Societ- Italiana per lo Studio dei Disturbi del Comportamento Alimentare - SISDCA) have agreed to a five-year collaboration to publish the quarterly journal Eating and Weight Disorders - Studies on Anorexia, Bulimia and Obesity, starting in 2013 with Volume 18. As the official journal of SISDCA, it will be available exclusively in electronic format on SpringerLink.
In the public health field, there is an ongoing debate as to whether improvement in the overall health of the population is linked to increases or decreases in social inequities in health, that is, the inequities between higher-income and lower-income groups or people of different race/ethnicities.
Immunotherapy when used for cancer treatment could extend life longer finds studies. Experts have explained that until now immunotherapy was reserved as a last resort for most patients and treatment usually comprised of chemotherapy and radiation therapy failing which these were tried.
