Sutter Health intentionally destroyed 192 boxes of documents that employers and labor unions were seeking in a lawsuit that accuses the giant Northern California health system of abusing its market power and charging inflated prices, according to a state judge.
Protox Therapeutics Inc., a leader in the development of receptor targeted fusion proteins, today announced that two oral podium presentations on the company's lead candidate, PRX302, will be made at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA). These presentations will include six month data from the Phase 2b clinical study of PRX302 called TRIUMPH, in patients with moderate to severe benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
A recently approved angina drug may also represent a powerful new treatment for a rare hereditary syndrome that places teens at risk for sudden cardiac death, according to research presented on April 1st at the 57th Annual Scientific Sessions of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in Chicago.
