At the HUPO 10th Annual World Congress in Geneva, Switzerland, and at the JAIMA Conference in Tokyo, Japan, Bruker this week announces the release of its new high-performance amaZon speed and amaZon speed ETD ion trap mass spectrometers (ITMS) to meet the increasing demands of the proteomics, research and applied markets.
In a study to be presented on Feb. 6 at 8:15 a.m. CST, at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine's annual meeting, The Pregnancy Meeting -, in New Orleans, researchers will report findings that recommend expectant monitoring instead of immediate delivery for women with gestational hypertension or preeclampsia between 34 and 37 weeks of pregnancy.
A mosquito-borne virus that has spread to the Caribbean and Central and South America and has caused isolated infections in Florida often causes joint pain and swelling similar to that seen in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
Women who take combination AIDS drugs not only have benefits for their own health but also may pass along high levels of the medication through breast-feeding, potentially protecting their infants from HIV infection
