Smith & Nephew's Endoscopy Division today announced the launch of the BIORAPTOR™ Knotless Suture Anchor, a device used to repair a torn labrum in the hip and shoulder. The anchor is among products featured at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting, which began today in New Orleans.
Scientists at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) recently reported the detection of toxins with unprecedented speed, sensitivity, and simplicity.
Capstone Therapeutics announced today it has completed a limited analysis of a subset of data from its ongoing AZX100 Phase 2a clinical trial in trocar site scarring following arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Based on this analysis, the clinical trial will continue to its planned 12-month endpoints.
