INTEGRA has published a new video testimonial in which researchers at the Institute for Clinical Chemistry at the Technical University of Munich describe the benefits of using the VACUSAFE Laboratory Aspiration System to provide simple, reliable and safe aspiration of cell culture supernatents.
Based on the results, the researchers led by Dr Melina Arnold from the International Agency for Research on Cancer, estimate that a quarter of all obesity-related cancers in 2012 (118 000 cases) were attributable to the rising average body mass index (BMI) in the population since 1982, and were therefore "realistically avoidable".
On March 19th the L'Oréal Foundation and UNESCO will present the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science awards to five outstanding women scientists.
