A phase II clinical trial led by Northwestern Medicine investigators shows that a new psoriasis drug called guselkumab has greater efficacy than the current standard of care for the chronic skin condition.
The National Association For Continence presented Tamara Dickinson, RN, CURN, CCCN, BCB-PMD, with its Rodney Appell Continence Care Champion Award at the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates luncheon on March 11, held during the 2011 SUNA Annual Symposium in New Orleans.
Daniel Kruger, research faculty at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, says it's perfectly natural that men often can't distinguish a sage sock from a beige sock or that sometimes women can't tell if the shoe department is due north or west from the escalator.
XBiotech announced today enrollment of the first patient into its Phase III trial of Xilonix. The Pivotal study is designed to improve health and survival of late stage colorectal cancer patients with associated cachexia.
