Biosign Technologies Inc. announced today that it will introduce its latest generation medical measurement system, the UFIT TEN-20, at the International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications, being held in Italy by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers on May 30-31, 2011. Dr Radu Leca, Biosign's CEO, will speak and demonstrate the system during the Plenary Session - Invited Lecture "Issues in Medical Measurement".
Each year, approximately 1.8 million women will have a cesarean delivery or hysterectomy. While opioids are the mainstay treatment for acute pain after these surgeries, most women use only a fraction of the opioids prescribed and do not properly dispose of unused drugs
Women may reduce the risk of their breast cancer returning by starting treatment with Femara (letrozole tablets) anywhere from one to seven years after finishing tamoxifen therapy, according to a new analysis published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
