New research shows that many women recently diagnosed with lung cancer have normal lung function and perform better on lung function tests compared with their male counterparts.
Response Genetics, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a purchase agreement with certain new and existing investors and certain funds managed by Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership to raise approximately $4 million from the private placement of 3,005,349 newly issued shares of its common stock, at a purchase price of $1.31 per share. The signing of the purchase agreement occurred on Friday, March 5, 2010. We expect the final closing of the shares will occur on Monday, March 8, 2010.
Electronic cigarette sales and popularity continues to increase on a daily basis despite the US Food and Drug Administration's attempts to label the products as unsafe and untested for their intended purpose.
