A new study aimed to investigate the susceptibility of adolescents as compared to older adults in the United States during the summer of 2020.
Earlier today, Anthem Blue Cross agreed to a request by the California Department of Insurance to postpone a rate adjustment for individual members in California by two months to allow the Department additional time for review. To avoid confusion for our members, this delay will impact all Anthem individual members regulated at either the state Department of Insurance or the Department of Managed Health Care.
Treating metastatic non-small cell lung cancer patients with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab after they've completed locally ablative therapy – meaning all known sites of their cancer were either treated with surgery, radiation, or other definitive treatments – almost tripled the median progression-free survival compared to the historical average.
New research shows one in four chronically ill Australians is skipping healthcare because of high costs.
