The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy has selected innovative educator and mentor Robert Beardsley, RPh, PhD, MS, to receive the group's prestigious 2011 Robert K. Chalmers Distinguished Pharmacy Educator Award.
Although U.S. military veterans who have returned from Iraq or Afghanistan are more likely to suffer chronic pain than veterans of any other conflict in American history, little headway has been made in helping them manage the often debilitating effects of chronic pain.
Most Australians do not approve of IVF or abortion for sex-selection purposes, and most do not think a hypothetical blue or pink pill to select the sex of a child should be legal, a new study has found.
ZOLL Medical Corporation, a manufacturer of resuscitation devices and software solutions, today announced that revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2010 increased 17% to $111.3 million, compared to revenues in the third quarter of last year of $95.1 million. The third quarter 2010 results included approximately $5.0 million of revenue from the Temperature Management business, compared to $1.9 million of revenue in the third quarter of last year.
