Meridian Healthcare Intelligence, a Dallas-based healthcare software company, signed a deal with Ethicus Healthcare for its latest suite of analytical programs designed to help improve cost management and operational performance.
Medical researchers were shocked to discover that virtually all human embryonic stem cell lines being used in 2005 were contaminated. Animal byproducts used to line Petri dishes had left traces on the human cells. If those cells had been implanted in a human body they likely would have been rejected by the patient's immune system.
Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced clinical trial results related to Threshold's clinical stage hypoxia-activated prodrug, TH-302. The results were presented at the 22nd EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics taking place in Berlin, Germany from November 16 to19, 2010.
