Most cases of early onset hearing loss are genetic in origin but there are many different forms. (IMI), a leading provider of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) services to hospitals, today announced that it has acquired the assets of Great Lakes Intraoperative Monitoring, LP (GLIM), a subsidiary of Williamsville, NY-based Archer Medical Diagnostic Testing, Inc.
Researchers from Louisiana State University in the U.S. are suggesting that the addition of antibiotics to standard drug therapy for multiple sclerosis, may slow down the progress of the disease.
Doing a little detective work can go a long way in finding skin cancer, the most common form of cancer diagnosed in the United States, at its earliest, most treatable stage. However, a new survey found that many people do not know how to spot skin cancer and are unaware of their risk of developing the disease.
