IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc., a leading national hospitalist physician group practice company, announced today that it has acquired Continuum Geriatric Services PLLC (CGS), headquartered in Livonia, Michigan. CGS practices in more than 60 nursing and assisted living facilities in Michigan, where IPC has an established presence. CGS has an annualized volume of approximately 105,000 patient encounters.
The researchers at University College, London, believe they have found a way to treat the disease in humans as long as it is detected before it has done harm to a large number of brain cells.
In a University of Missouri study, girls and boys started grade school with different approaches to solving arithmetic problems, with girls favoring a slow and accurate approach and boys a faster but more error prone approach.
